The Protector Boats CHASE 250 is the smallest model in the family, and is known for high performance and excellent maneuverability.
Versatile and packs a lot of punch!
The 250 is a high capable boat, and is used world-wide as regatta support or as day boats.
Soundings Magazine says:
"... can take owners anywhere, in any conditions."
“Protector makes no qualms about its primary mission: to design and build rugged RIBs that can take owners anywhere, in any conditions.”
Whether on the regatta race course or heading out on a day trip, the CHASE 250 effortlessly cruises at 30MPH with the signature Protector maneuverability.
Advanced hull design.
The CHASE 250 performs exceptionally well in rough waters and is easy to maneuver in high traffic waters like on a racecourse. The aft deck provides plenty of room for this boat to function as a recreational or small tender.
Precision-engineered hull construction.
Trusted by Search and Rescue.
The precision-engineered hull construction of each Protector model fills the Captain with confidence to go anywhere in safety and comfort. Each hull is solid hand-laid fiberglass using 24-ounce roven woving layers, building up until the hull is three-quarters-of-an-inch thick on the sides and one-and-a-half-inches thick at the keel.
This approach uses proven and reliable construction techniques, and Protector has had no hull failures since its first hull was produced in 1999. The rugged hull is surrounded by an inflatable Hypalon collar with seven baffled air chambers, this provides a suspension like effect, absorbing energy and reducing the feel of pounding into the waves. Go ahead. Go anywhere.
